Online hardware tests for your keyboard, mouse, controller, screen and printer
Pick the device you want to check. Each test runs in your browser, starts immediately and explains what the result does and does not prove.
Choose a device
- KeyboardCheck every key, find keys that do not register and see key codes.
- MouseTest mouse buttons, side buttons, the scroll wheel and your click speed.
- ControllerTest gamepad buttons, triggers and analog sticks for Xbox, PlayStation and PC controllers.
- DisplayFind dead or stuck pixels and open full-screen white or black screens.
- PrinterPrint a test page or download it as a PDF in A4 or Letter.
Start from the symptom
- A key does nothing or types twice — run the keyboard test and press the key slowly a few times.
- A click does not register, or the side buttons do nothing — the mouse test shows every press and release separately.
- A character moves on its own in a game — the gamepad tester shows each stick's position while you leave it untouched.
- A dot on the screen never changes colour — the dead pixel test fills the screen with plain colours so you can find it.
- Prints are faded, streaky or cut off — print the printer test page and compare it with the checklist on the sheet.
What a browser test can and cannot tell you
A web page only sees what the operating system and browser pass on: key codes, button presses, stick values and the colours it draws. That is enough to answer the most common question — does this input reach the computer? — and to collect clear observations for a repair shop, a seller or a warranty claim.
It cannot read a device's firmware, battery or sensor, measure ink levels or repair anything. Some keys (Fn, media keys, system shortcuts) never reach a web page at all. Every test here says where its limits are, so a missing reading is not mistaken for a broken part.
Private by design
The tests run locally. Key presses, button readings, controller names and results stay in your browser tab and disappear when you close it. The only thing saved is your best click-speed score, and only on your own device.

- Mac keyboard testKeyboard test with Mac key names, for MacBook keyboards and the Magic Keyboard.
- Mouse testCheck left, right, middle and side buttons and every scroll-wheel step.
- Double click testFind a mouse that double-clicks on its own: every press timed, suspicious repeats flagged.
