Start with the test page
The printer test page combines text in six sizes, fine lines, grey steps, CMYK and RGB colour patches, smooth ramps, a 100 mm ruler and a circle on one sheet. Print it once, then use the checklist printed on the page to see what is wrong.
What a web page can and cannot do with your printer
A browser can send a page to the printer you select, but it cannot see the printer, read ink or toner levels, or start a head cleaning. For nozzle checks, cleaning and alignment, use the maintenance menu or app from your printer's maker; this test page tells you whether that is needed.
