Controller tests
Connect a gamepad by cable or Bluetooth and see exactly what your browser receives: every button, analog trigger and stick position.
Tests in this section
- Gamepad testerSee every button, trigger and stick value from your controller live.
- Stick drift testMeasure how far each analog stick sits from centre while you are not touching it.
- Vibration testMake your controller rumble on demand to check both vibration motors.
- PS5 controller testTest a DualSense: Cross, Circle, triggers, sticks, touchpad press and vibration.
- Xbox controller testTest an Xbox controller: A/B/X/Y, LB/RB, LT/RT, sticks and rumble.
What you can check
The gamepad tester reads the browser's Gamepad API. It works with most Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and generic USB or Bluetooth controllers that your operating system recognises.
- Buttons and D-pad: pressed or not, plus analog pressure on triggers.
- Sticks: live X/Y position, distance from centre and a trail of recent movement.
- Connection: detection, disconnection and the device name the browser reports.
If the controller is not detected
Browsers only reveal a gamepad after you press one of its buttons on the open page. If nothing appears, check the cable (some only charge), re-pair Bluetooth, close tools that take exclusive control of the pad, and try another browser. Wireless Xbox controllers may need the Xbox Wireless Adapter or a recent Bluetooth firmware.
